Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY SKILLS

  • Proficiency in Telecom Domain with hands on experience of functional testing for VoIP network (SIP(S), RTP/RTCP, HTTP, NAT, TCP/UDP, TLS). Or Mobile applications testing.
  • Good understanding of the VoIP network and architecture.
  • Hands on experience on tools like Wire-shark, Ethereal, and tcpdump
  • Knowledge of bug tracking tools.
  • Knowledge on client application testing (on Various OS – Android, iOS, Windows, etc)
  • Knowledge on Black Box testing
  • Troubleshooting problems from End to End (Client – Network – Server)

SECONDARY SKILLS

  • Proficient in Linux
  • Text based log analysis
  • Performance/Stress testing

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Should come up with a test strategy for the product-release to be tested and be able to setup the lab setup accordingly.
  • Should be able to write the relevant Test-Scenarios for the given requirement

SOFT SKILLS

  • Good Oral and Written Communication Skills are required.
  • Should be a self-motivated person who can thrive in challenging environment and gel well with the team.
  • Should be willing to grasp/share knowledge with the team and be able to guide/mentor other junior members of the team.
