We’re looking for talented translation graduates looking to begin their careers in the industry.
You’ll take part in our tailor-made training program taking the skills from your degree and developing them to become one of our top in-house translators.
As a fully fledged in-house translator you’d be working on leading global VIP client accounts, working with cutting-edge technology and delivering outstanding quality on a daily basis.
We are currently recruiting for the following language combinations:
Position summary:
- Translate and proofread documents, mainly specialisation (i.e. Medical, Life Sciences) from English into Polish
- Undertake trainings on additional language pairs may be required
- Edit documents translated by freelance translators or other internal linguists
- Give final approval to any changes to translated documents after they have been proofread and edited
- Maintain databases and use translation memories
- Juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Keep Project Managers informed of project progress
- Manage and train, where appropriate, external vendors
Qualifications, experience and skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in translation or equivalent, preferably specialising in the Life Sciences or Medical field
- Native level of Polish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar
- Prior translation / proofreading experience preferred
- Ability to support multiple projects
- Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
