About the Role

WeWork is looking for a Localization Project Coordinator to own production of tasks integral to the localization production pipeline of a diverse set of WeWork products, features, and campaigns. You will work with teams across the company to ship high quality localized content to our employees and members worldwide.

About the Team:

The Globalization team at WeWork is responsible for producing premier localized content in over 20 languages for 300K (and rapidly growing) WeWork members across 300+ office locations, in 100+ cities, and in 20+ countries worldwide; this includes the localization of a variety of WeWork applications, websites, and member facing communications.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with external translation vendors and internal teams to handle resolution of a backlog of translator questions and continue to answer these in a timely manner
  • You will manage a translation service desk for internal stakeholders and ensure completion of projects by SLA
  • Under direction of Localization Project Managers, execute special and ad-hoc localization projects from project inception through completion
  • You will insure linguistic resources have the necessary tools and information to accomplish tasks
  • You will alert resources of schedule or scope changes
  • You will maintain localization checklists to track and report on localization progress

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree and 1+ years professional experience
  • Detail-oriented and organized self-starter with track record of juggling and prioritizing multiple projects with minimal guidance
  • Ability to balance independent tasks / goals while contributing to team goals and collaborating with other team members
  • Flexibility to deal with frequent changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events
  • Good technical and analytical skills
  • Accustomed to working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment with varying demands
  • Client-focused service experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a language other than English
  • Familiarity with Localization / Translation Management tools and concepts including Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, Translation Memory (TM), and glossaries
  • Knowledge of various file formats and basic HTML
