About the role:

WeWork is currently seeking a Press Assistant for the Public Affairs team across EMEA. This full-time three-month position will be based in London and will report to the Public Affairs Lead for EMEA. The position will offer the right candidate a unique opportunity to join one of the world's foremost late-stage growth companies and support the team that’s building our brand across current and emerging markets.

Duties include:

  • Support the team to efficiently input and track data and team information
  • Prepare and draft briefing docs for WeWork Executives prior to interviews and speaking engagements
  • Assist and draft press releases for new announcements
  • Support the team to vet speaking opportunities
  • Assist in ad-hoc organisation Events on the ground
  • Research and compose potential pitches
  • Keep up-to-date on media coverage
  • Work in partnership with the Public Affairs Lead for EMEA to develop and implement launch strategies for new markets

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
  • A strong interest in Public Relations and Affairs
  • Be a strong self-starter who is eager to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organisation
  • Excellent organisation, communication, writing and presentation skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions
  • Team player - this is a flat and lean team!
  • Willing/able to travel to both existing and new locations.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised and able to handle different projects simultaneously 
  • Experience in tools such as Google suite
