Responsibilities
- dedicated to improving the reliability of WeWork products.
- Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug issues
- Support the team’s transition to platform solutions (solution engineers)
- Work on project level and drive maturity across our services
- You thrive in a fast moving collaborative environment where teamwork and delivery are primary values
Requirements
- Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- You are passionate about scale, quality, and performance.
- You have experience
- with operating systems and TCP/IP network fundamentals
- with open source software development.
- with Linux systems and services
- one or more languages such as Ruby, Java, Node.js, Go, Python or similar
- configuration and maintenance of applications such as web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems and messaging systems
- Experience working within a distributed organization
- Experience working with global open source communities to achieve shared goals
- 4 years back end systems experience.
- You have excellent written communication, interpersonal communication, and documentation skills
