The Position

WeWork is looking for a talented and well experienced BI front-end engineer to level up its product and business insights. As part of this position, you will develop advanced data models and reporting solutions that will support our analysts and business units with validated and reliable data.

Responsibilities

• Create data products to drive business and product decisions in the company and enable self-service analytics.
• Create dashboards that drive the business and product decisions in the company.
• Produce the insight experience and language to ease the new dashboard onboarding.
• Boost the BI analysts and business users by building smart data warehouse models, integrations and manipulation using the right tool for the job.
• Work with various teams to define key metrics (KPIs) and provide the methodologies to accurately measure the firm’s performance.
• Provide BI analysts and other stakeholders inside the company with technical support related to BI activity.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate requirements to data models.
• Proactively identify gaps in data consumption and define processes to complete them.

Requirements

• BA/B.Sc. in industrial/information systems engineering, computer science, statistics or equivalent - an advantage.
• Proven experience of 3+ years in data engineering / BI development roles.
• Proven experience of acting as a senior developer working on business logic processes, data warehouse modeling, insight delivery, and KPI strategy.
• Proven experience of more than 2 years working hands-on with a BI dashboard tool - a must
• Very high level of SQL and data warehouse modeling - a must
• Experience with big data solutions like Redshift, Bigquery, Vertica, etc. - an advantage
• Experience in the tech industry
• Experience with 24/7 systems and real-time analytics - an advantage
