About The Team
The Trading Analytics team is responsible for building pre-trade and post-trade analytics and performing Transaction Cost Analysis using both in-house and external party systems. The team also works closely with Strategic Business Solutions to develop business intelligence tools for analyzing business performance drivers. The Trading Analytics team is part of our Global Trading team, and work closely with other functions in Global Trading, Research and Portfolio Implementation teams.
Your Role
- Provide support to senior members of the Trading Analytics and Strategic Business Solutions teams to measure and analyze trading costs, trading volume, commission patterns and market trends
- Act as the point of contact for all trading related client inquiries and requests, track deadlines, monitor progress, prepare responses and provide inquiry follow-ups
- Liaise with other members across all departments to obtain answers to client inquiries and requests
- Develop strong AQR trading knowledge and asset class understanding
- Participate in other projects in trading analytics and strategic business solutions to learn all aspect of trading process and market microstructure and conduct preliminary data modelling
What You’ll Bring
- An undergraduate degree required in Economics, Business or a Science, Quantitative or Engineering Program from a top university is preferred
- Up to two years of relevant post-undergraduate experience at an investment management or asset management firm, a consulting firm or investment bank; exceptional graduating seniors will be considered
- High proficiency in Python, PowerPoint and Excel, and familiarity with SQL and Tableau
