The Store Platform team is responsible for all of the customer, product and order information that flows through our systems. This includes the customer account creation, shopping cart, purchases, and catalog information systems that are used across web and mobile platforms. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to write and own production level, readable and maintainable code. Our team consists of ambitious, intelligent, and collaborative Software Engineers. 

What you will own, manage and be accountable for:

• Develop and deploy solutions independently and as a team member

• Participate in design efforts and discussions

• Review requirements, software designs, and code

• Own the quality of the deliverables

• Collaborate across business teams (stakeholders) 

• Operate and provide 24/7 services to internal and external customers 

• Research new technologies to support build vs. buy and rapid growth of the business 

• Design in a mindset of reducing technical debt

• Consistently delivers work within started timelines

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• 3+ years of programming experience in a language such as Java or PHP

• Relevant experience with relational / non-relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle, SQL, Mongo, Cassandra, Elastic Search, or Redis)

• Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach and ability to measure impact of project and product deliverables

• Strong software design and architecture skills with an eye toward avoiding and reducing technical debt

• Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving, growing and dynamic environment

• Ability to think system wide and translate business requirements into code

Preferred

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• Experience with MySQL, Mongo, ElasticSearch, and Redis

• Ability to explore new ideas and have a passion to make them happen

• Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others
