Job Description
Join a dedicated team that develops and supports missioncritical software systems for U.S. Navy applications. As a Software Test Engineer, you focus on requirementsbased testing, verification, and validation across the entire software development lifecycle. You work closely with engineers and customers to understand system requirements, build and execute test procedures, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that complex software solutions perform reliably and as intended in highly regulated environments.

Work Environment
You work in a hybrid environment that combines onsite and remote collaboration. The role requires working onsite at a Navy Undersea Warfare Center facility on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the remainder of the week performed remotely under normal circumstances. During dedicated test weeks, you spend additional time onsite to support intensive test events, though these weeks are not frequent. You operate in a Linuxbased development and test environment using terminaldriven tools, and you collaborate closely with engineering teams, government stakeholders, and customers. The work focuses on missioncritical, highly regulated systems, emphasizing precision, documentation, and adherence to established processes in a professional technical setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
