Data Center Cabling Technician

Location: Levittown PA

Type: Contract

We're looking for a Data Center Cabling Technician to support cabling and infrastructure projects inside a live data center environment. This role is open to both experienced Data Center technicians and entry-level candidates with cabling, trade school, or technical training backgrounds who are looking to build a career in the data center industry.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and terminate Cat6A cabling
• Perform fiber patching and trunking
• Work with cross-connects, network cages, cabinets, switches, and MMR environments
• Survey existing infrastructure and maintain accurate documentation
• Patch, label, and organize cabling
• Assist with rack-and-stack and other data center infrastructure work
• Perform cable testing and basic troubleshooting
• Support cabinet relocations and other physical infrastructure projects as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling, low voltage, or data center environments preferred
• Understanding of Cat6A cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, and cable management
• Ability to follow documentation and labeling standards
• Comfortable working in an active data center environment
• Ability to perform physical work, including moving equipment and cabinets when required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Levittown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
