Freezer Forklift Operator
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 6:00 AM until all work is completed
- Optional Saturdays based on business needs
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Freezer Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position requires working in a cold storage environment while safely operating a variety of powered industrial equipment to move, store, and organize products. Candidates must be comfortable working in freezing temperatures and committed to maintaining a safe, productive workplace.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate:
- Stand-up forklifts
- Sit-down forklifts
- Reach trucks
- Cherry pickers
- Double rider pallet jacks
- Load, unload, move, and stage products throughout the warehouse.
- Accurately pick and replenish inventory.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment is preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a freezer/cold storage environment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the shift.
- Steel-toe boots are required.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must successfully pass a 10-panel pre-employment drug screen, including THC.
- Ability to work overtime and optional Saturdays when needed.
