Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a well-established brewery production facility in Asheville. This 3rd shift role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a steady overnight routine, works well independently, and takes pride in keeping product moving safely and efficiently through the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport pallets of finished product, raw materials, and packaging supplies
- Safely stage and organize inventory in the warehouse, ensuring accurate placement and labeling
- Load outbound trucks and unload incoming deliveries in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment
- Perform general material handling duties, including manual lifting, sorting, and packaging as needed
- Conduct pre-shift forklift inspections and report any equipment issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility safety standards
- Accurately complete production and inventory paperwork/scanning as required
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teammates to keep product flow on schedule overnight
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required; certification a plus (or willingness to certify)
- Prior warehouse, production, or material handling experience preferred
- Comfortable working overnight hours (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for the duration of the shift
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a cold or fluctuating-temperature warehouse environment
Monday-Friday 10pm to 7am Schedule $22/hr to start.
Request to train on days 1-2 weeks to learn the process and equipment.
