Requirements:
- Installing of molds including all hydraulic, water, and electrical connections where needed
- Start-up of molding machines and auxiliary equipment to pre-established process parameters
- Basic troubleshooting of injection molding processes and automation equipment
- Pre-inspection of molded product prior to submitting for quality inspection
- Safe removal of molds from the molding machine for planned maintenance
- Responsible for the promotion of and adherence to all appropriate safety practices
- A minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in injection molding manufacturing is required
- Basic computer skills desired
- An understanding of Scientific Injection Molding Principles or equivalent is desired but not required
- The ability to use basic hand tools is required
- The ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Basic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals and fractions, required
- The ability to work 8 hour shifts and occasionally work holidays
- The ability to be standing 70% of the time and can lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use measurement equipment to include calipers, micrometers, etc.
