We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Conventional Trust team. This role is located in New York, NY

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to impact our organization in the following ways:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and security to deliver innovative solutions, using AI tooling to compress design-to-delivery cycles.
  • Drive Engineering 2.0 best practices across coding, testing, and deployment — embedding AI-powered code generation, intelligent test creation, and automated documentation into every stage of the SDLC.
  • Accelerate engineering productivity through the adoption of AI-assisted development tools, enabling faster delivery, improved quality, and greater focus on high-impact design, architecture, and customer value initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers on both core engineering fundamentals and AI-augmented development practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technology strategy.
  • Lead and participate in AI-assisted code reviews — using intelligent tooling to pre-screen for bugs, security vulnerabilities, and code smells before human review.
  • Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards, with AI tooling integrated into the pipeline for early vulnerability detection and shift-left quality assurance.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Execute the full software development lifecycle, applying security, privacy, quality assurance, and Engineering 2.0 best practices throughout. Hands-on coding experience is required

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 10–14 years of experience in full stack software development
  • Proven leadership experience in software development projects within a financial services environment is a plus
  • Extensive experience in full stack development with proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Vue) and back-end technologies (Java, Spring Framework)
  • Design, develop, and maintain Playwright/Selenium -based UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks using Java or TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices
  • Strong understanding of SQL / PL-SQL and performance tuning; Oracle knowledge is a plus
  • Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release management practices
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Windsurf or equivalent AI-powered development tools) to accelerate software delivery, code generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment
  • Nice to have some experience with Camunda BPMN Workflow
