  • Design resilient, secure, and high-performing distributed systems with appropriate error handling, retry logic, and scalability considerations.
  • Mentor and coach software engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with business analysts, product owners, architects, and implementation vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions, technical roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Vanilla JavaScript, Node.js, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Express.js, Fastify, or NestJS.
  • Proven experience designing and developing enterprise APIs and system-to-system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, API versioning, authentication, and API security.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure API Management
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Event Grid
  • Azure Container Apps

  • Experience mentoring developers and conducting code reviews.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, or similar.
  • Experience leading large-scale integration modernization or migration initiatives.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of observability tools for logging, tracing, and monitoring.
  • Experience with additional programming languages such as C#/.NET, Java, Go, or Rust.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-305) are highly preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
