This full-time position will be based in the TWC office in Austin at 101 E. 15th Street. The selected candidate must be able to work on site between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. TWC offers flexible schedules between the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM depending on work performance and/or demonstration of need.

WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Data Analyst III-IV to join the Department of Analytics and Evaluation in TWC's Information Innovation & Insight (I|3) division. The Data Analyst III-IV will learn quickly, value public service, and pursue analytical work to unlock the power of data to improve TWC's services for Texas employers, individuals, families, and communities. Team members in A&E are mostly self-directed and produce high-quality research and evaluation work as well as proactively creating and applying complex statistical models to solve system problems.
As a collaborative partner with the Re-employment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Department, the Data Analyst III-IV will help unemployed Texans return to work faster by using insightful research, data analysis, and evaluative performance to help TWC understand and improve services, enhance job outcomes, and implement good stewardship of federal and state funds. The data analyst will work closely with TWC staff in other departments and external vendors to implement causal impact studies of RESEA program interventions.
The Data Analyst III-IV will work under limited supervision with broad latitude for the use of initiative, creativity, innovation, and independent judgment. Team members operate collaboratively in an environment that encourages cross-training and peer mentorship.
