The Books Risk Management (BRM) Automation team is seeking a Program Manager II to drive automation programs that improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk controls, and enhance the customer experience across Amazon's Books business.
In this role, you will partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, and Operations teams to identify opportunities, build scalable solutions, drive automation adoption, and deliver measurable business impact. You will lead high-visibility initiatives, investigate complex operational challenges, influence technical roadmaps, and ensure automation systems continue to operate effectively as the business scales. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, ownership, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

A day in the life
You may start your day reviewing operational metrics and automation performance, investigating a production issue impacting a critical workflow, partnering with engineers on a new automation launch, conducting a deep dive into quality trends, or presenting program updates to senior leaders. You will regularly work across business, product, and technical teams to solve complex problems, prioritize opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions that create measurable business impact.
