Salary: $18.75
- Operate rubber processing machines such as molding presses, extruders, mixers, or grinders under supervision.
- Load raw materials (e.g., rubber compounds) into machines and monitor processing cycles.
- Inspect finished parts for quality, defects, or inconsistencies using visual checks and basic measurement tools.
- Report machine malfunctions or production issues to supervisors immediately.
- Follow safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Complete production logs and paperwork accurately.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- No prior machine operation experience needed; training will be provided.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [30] lbs.
- Willingness to work in a hot, industrial environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Must have reliable transportation
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with safety standards in an industrial environment.
