Apple's Applied Machine Learning team has built systems for a number of large-scale data science applications. We work on many high-impact projects that serve various Apple lines of business. Working with multiple lines of business, we manage many streams of Apple-scale data. We bring it all together and extract the value. We do all this with an exceptional group of software engineers, data scientists, dev-ops engineers and managers.
Join Apple's AML Team as an Engineering Program Manager driving our machine learning platforms on Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud). This role requires a combination of product and project management, a strong engineering background, and the ability to build collaborative relationships across various teams in Apple as well as with regional partners. We are looking for someone who loves digging into details, driving operational efficiencies under demanding timeframes, and driving large, complex projects. You will partner with our Data Science team to manage programs focused on preventing fraud. You will work directly with engineering teams to build out infrastructure and develop new integrations within our Alicloud instance, enhancing and scaling our machine learning platforms in the region. You will be expected to lead the team in delivering solutions that meet Apple's business goals while maintaining the highest industry and Apple Information Technology standards, along with the compliance and data-residency requirements specific to operating on Alibaba Cloud. Given close collaboration with local engineering teams, partners, and vendors, this role requires professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
