Job Title: SU3- Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for the 2nd shift, working from Monday to Friday, 2PM to 10:30 PM, with potential additional hours on Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM. The role involves assembling sub-components and finished products, utilizing basic product and process knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and fit metal products using hand and power tools.
  • Operate hand and power tools as well as an overhead crane to build units
  • Engage in fast-paced production and assembly work.
  • Lift and fit products together, weighing 60lbs or more.
  • Collaborate with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.
  • Perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience operating an overhead crane.
  • Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of assembly schematics.
  • Capability to accurately use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required within a specific time after conversion to a permanent role (Company offers a GED program).
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs or more (40lbs independently).
  • Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
