Join a long-term automotive project focused on the development of an Android-based infotainment platform. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and evolving the overall system architecture across the Android Platform, BSP, middleware, hardware integration, vehicle interfaces, and application layers. Working closely with OEM stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads, you will drive architectural decisions, support complex software and hardware integration, and ensure the platform remains scalable, maintainable, and ready for future development.

Requirements

Experience Required:

• 12+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• 5+ years of experience designing Android-based platforms.
• Proven experience as System Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.
• Experience working on production automotive infotainment systems.
• Experience collaborating with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Job responsibilities

The System Architect will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and evolving the overall system architecture across Android Platform, BSP, middleware, hardware integration, vehicle interfaces, and application layers.

The role requires strong experience in Android Automotive OS (AAOS), AOSP architecture, embedded Linux, automotive systems, and complex software-hardware integration. The candidate will work closely with OEM stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leads to drive architecture decisions, resolve complex system issues, and ensure long-term platform scalability and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the overall system architecture of the Android-based infotainment platform.
• Define architectural principles, guidelines, and technical strategies for platform evolution.
• Ensure alignment between hardware, BSP, Android platform, middleware, and application components.
• Analyze existing architecture and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Define solutions for new features, enhancements, and platform changes.
• Maintain architecture documentation, system models, and technical specifications.
• Application and middleware interaction
• Android build and release architecture
• Work closely with BSP teams to ensure robust platform integration.
