Summary:
Our client in Elgin is seeking a Picker to join their 2nd shift team. In this role, you will separate metal and plastic materials, remove unnecessary materials, and support production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Separate metal and plastic materials as orders come through the production line.
- Dispose of materials that are not needed according to established procedures.
- Monitor materials on a continuously moving conveyor belt.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable standing and working around a moving conveyor belt.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to sort materials accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
