Description and Requirements
Job Title: Associate Engineer, AI Application Development
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven applications and features.
- Implement and integrate machine learning models into production systems under guidance from senior engineers.
- Develop backend services and APIs to support AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and frontend engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Perform testing, debugging, and optimization of AI applications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices in software engineering and AI application development.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and usage guidelines.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Solid programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with common AI/ML frameworks or libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with software development fundamentals, including version control (e.g., Git) and debugging.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing or deploying AI or machine learning applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, or web application development.
- Understanding of data pipelines, model evaluation, and basic MLOps concepts.
- Exposure to databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data processing frameworks.
- Internship or project experience related to AI, data science, or software engineering.
- Strong interest in applied AI and real-world problem solving.
