Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with growth potential? We're seeking a Press Helper / Operator to join our production team on 1st & 2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). In this role, you'll work alongside experienced Press Operators to help produce high-quality printed products while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with press setup by loading materials and preparing equipment for production runs.
  • Monitor press operations, troubleshoot minor issues, and support consistent production quality.
  • Perform quality checks on printed materials for color, registration, and overall print accuracy.
  • Complete routine cleaning and maintenance of printing equipment.
  • Package finished products, document production activity, and support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends when production demands require.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in a printing, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
  • Professional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Work Environment

  • Combination of manufacturing floor and office settings.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, machine noise, and production equipment.
  • Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motion activities.
  • Safety equipment required as applicable.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
