Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for following documented procedures, such as Manufacturing Work Instructions, performing inspections and functional tests to verify quality conformance, and adhering to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. This hands-on position demands excellent hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and the ability to comprehend complex manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Follow documented procedures, including Manufacturing Work Instructions.
  • Perform inspections and functional tests to verify quality conformance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with lab equipment assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Support production with a range of parameters and SOPs from 10-200 pages of documentation.
  • Work closely with quality on basic non-conformance documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and communicate effectively in complex situations.
  • Participate in onboarding through buddy alignment, shadowing, and supervised builds.

Essential Skills

  • Relevant associate degree or high school diploma.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
  • Good hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform repetitive arm/wrist motions.
  • Ability to handle or come into contact with chemicals or reagents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work within a high-complexity genetic research environment.
  • Experience with SAP support documentation.
  • Background in Med Device, Aviation, or Military is beneficial.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
