Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled 1st shift Press Brake Operator to join our team in Williamsport. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring a press brake machine to bend and shape metal sheets according to blueprints. A strong eye for detail is required to ensure all finished parts meet precise quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, safely operate, and monitor a press brake machine to bend and form sheet metal according to exact project specifications.
• Create, load, and verify part programs on the machine to ensure accurate production runs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions to guide the fabrication process.
• Select, measure, install, and change out specialized dies and tooling based on specific job measurements.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring tools to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Organize and stack completed parts and raw materials onto production carts to maintain a clean, efficient workspace.

Education: High School

Experience: 12 months

• 1 to 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC press brake machines (or a similar metal fabrication background).
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions.
• Strong basic math skills (including fractions and decimals) and experience using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
