Salary: $1,540/week
We are actively recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing company in Leominster, MA. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality before shipment by performing detailed visual and dimensional inspections on finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Gather product samples, instructions, and inspection forms for each order.
- Check product labels, appearance, construction, and wiring details to make sure they match the specifications.
- Test the product for issues like electrical shorts or failed insulation using specialized equipment.
- Measure and record important dimensions like wire thickness and insulation using measuring tools.
- Use and check tools like microscopes, calipers, and gauges to ensure they’re accurate.
- Fill out inspection reports with test results and measurements.
- Mark logs and stamp approved products that meet quality standards.
- Report any defects to the supervisor and place hold tags on products that don’t pass inspection.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment
- Skilled in using measuring tools such as tape measures, OD tapes, calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret product drawings and specifications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
The hours are Monday to Friday, 6AM – 6PM, with mandatory overtime.
Base pay is $22/hr. On a weekly basis, you will make $1,540/week.
