About the Role
The Controller's primary responsibility is to support the Vice President of Accounting in directing all accounting functions for the company. The Controller serves as a key accounting leader, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, operational accounting, technical accounting matters, month/year-end close activities, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives.
This is a highly hands-on operational accounting leadership role. The successful candidate will balance strategic oversight with active involvement in day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and GAAP compliance across the organization. This position is ideal for a Controller who enjoys remaining close to the day-to-day accounting operations, driving execution, solving problems, and implementing process improvements rather than serving solely in a financial reporting capacity.
The company is experiencing continued growth and seeks a dynamic accounting leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces challenges, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and has a proven track record of building teams, improving processes, and delivering results.

TA Opening Positioning Statement
"Before we discuss your background, I'd like to provide some context around the opportunity. This is a highly visible, hands-on operational Controller role reporting to the VP of Accounting. Additionally, this is a Controller title, but it is very much an operational Controller role versus a traditional financial reporting-focused Controller position.
The individual selected will lead a large accounting organization, remain actively involved in day-to-day accounting operations, and help drive process improvements within a fast-paced, growing business. We want to ensure what we're looking for aligns with what you're seeking in your next role."
