Job Description
Be a main contributor to advanced automotive ECU development and join PS-TC. As a development organization working on complex embedded control systems, we create application software that connects customer functions, system requirements, embedded platforms, sensors, actuators, diagnostics, and vehicle-level behavior into reliable ECU solutions.
From Budapest we contribute to software and system development activities with strong focus on application software engineering, ECU-level understanding, integration quality, and close cooperation with system, hardware, software platform, testing, and project teams.
Your tasks:
► Develop model-based application software for automotive ECU functions.
► Understand and translate system requirements into robust application software design and implementation.
► Contribute to ECU-level topics such as signal flows, diagnostics, communication interfaces, configuration data, software integration, and interaction with sensors and actuators.
► Analyze software and system behavior, support debugging, integration, verification, and issue resolution in an automotive development environment.
► Cooperate closely with system engineers, software architects, platform developers, testers, project teams, and international development partners.
► Be part of a team developing application software for complex automotive control units, with the opportunity to grow towards system-level expertise.
Qualifications
► Experience in model-based software development, preferably in an automotive application software environment.
► Good understanding of ECU software architecture, embedded systems, interfaces, diagnostics, communication, and software integration topics.
► Ability to understand system-level requirements and evaluate their impact on application software behavior.
► Structured, analytical, and quality-oriented working style with the ability to work independently.
► Ability to cooperate effectively within international, cross-functional development teams.
► Good English language skills.
► University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, informatics or comparable.
What gives you further advantages:
► Automotive application software development experience
► System-level understanding of ECU behavior, vehicle functions, sensors, actuators, and control logic
► Experience with AUTOSAR, diagnostics, communication stacks, configuration management, or software integration
► Embedded software development experience, including C programming, is an advantage
► Know-how in suspension systems, chassis control, damper control, air suspension, or related vehicle dynamics functions is a strong advantage
► Experience with requirement engineering, software design, debugging, test support, or ASPICE-compliant development processes
► ISO 26262 or ISO/SAE 21434 awareness
► German language skills
