This is a Contract-to-Hire position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 6+ Months Contract-to-Hire

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Salary: $130,000/Annually

Role: Senior Software Engineer

Primary Skills: Java, Software Engineering

Role Description: The Senior Software Engineer must have 2-8+ years of experience.

Required Experience and Skillsets:

Industry Background:

• Technology and banking would be a plus, not required.

Team Dynamic:

• Working in a crew of 10

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hands on keyboard development
• Working with agile crew to understand story to meet acceptance criteria and delivery
• Coaching of Jr team members, as needed.

Must Have Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of Java development

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Ability to coach Jr developers.

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelors preferred, or equivalent work experience

Soft Skills:

• Interpersonal skills
• Giving and receiving constructive feedback
• Team collaboration

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any IT related field.

Experience: Minimum 2-8+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
