Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

This role involves mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, following computer-based work instructions, and supporting labeling and packaging activities as needed while working collaboratively with a small team.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble industrial machines using mechanical components, hand tools, and power tools according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Follow detailed computer-based work instructions and work orders to ensure accurate and consistent assembly processes.
  • Work on an assembly line alongside approximately 4 to 10 team members, contributing to a smooth and efficient production flow.
  • Perform labeling and packaging of finished products as needed to prepare items for shipment or storage.
  • Use basic electrical and mechanical knowledge as required for assembly tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Handle and lift components and products weighing up to 40 pounds throughout the shift.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing setting, with mechanical assembly experience highly preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work confidently with hand and power tools, whether from previous jobs or personal projects such as home renovations or automotive work.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned manufacturing facility equipped with very new equipment. The work environment is safe, well-lit, and designed to provide a comfortable atmosphere for employees. The culture is easy-going but fast-paced, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Trainers are supportive, patient, and skilled at helping new team members and contractors get up to speed. Although the overall organization is large with over 100 employees, the department maintains a small-team feel, with daily work typically alongside about 10 other employees on the line.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
