We are looking for a proactive, collaborative, and quality-driven Senior QA Automation Engineer in Python to join our leading global financial institution based in Kraków or Wrocław, where cutting-edge technology, finance, and quality engineering meet. In this role, you will play a key part in validating critical pricing, financial, or trading workflows, ensuring our financial applications run with pinpoint precision and reliability.

We operate under a highly accommodating "flex-hybrid" model (3 days per week in the office), offering exceptional flexibility designed to support your work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • Python & Playwright Automation: Build and execute automated tests using Python and Playwright
  • API Testing: Conduct solid, comprehensive testing of application APIs
  • Cloud Environment Testing: Test and validate applications deployed in cloud environments
  • Data Validation: Perform strong data validation and data testing
  • Financial Workflow Validation: Validate pricing, financial, or trading workflows
  • Best Practices: Apply software testing best practices and design structured automation frameworks

Requirements

  • Core Technical Stack: Strong, hands-on experience in Python-based test automation paired with solid experience using Playwright
  • Testing Expertise: Deep background in API testing, robust data validation, and automated testing best practices
  • Financial Domain Knowledge: Experience validating pricing, financial, or trading workflows
  • Cloud & Environment: Proven experience testing applications within cloud environments
  • Personal Attributes & Adaptability: Proactive, fluent in English, and comfortable in dynamic settings with evolving requirements. Eager to collaborate across teams and adapt to both older codebases and new projects

Nice to have

  • Experience with Java and Databricks
  • Prior background in financial services, capital markets, or specialized pricing platforms
