Project Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced EHS Engineer (m/f/d) on a freelance basis to support an R&D site in Athens.
The role is fully onsite and focuses on operational Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) support, ensuring compliance with local Greek legislation as well as internal HSE standards.
Responsibilities
Conduct and update risk assessments in line with Greek H&S legislation
Ensure environmental and permit compliance at site level
Provide operational EHS support (training, PPE, fire safety, procedures, etc.)
Support laboratory decommissioning activities
Collaborate with local vendors and authorities
Support implementation of EHS measures in day-to-day operations
Requirements
Proven experience as EHS Engineer / Safety Engineer /
Strong knowledge of Greek health & safety legislation (Law 3850/2010)
Experience in industrial/technical environments (e.g. chemical, electrical, mechanical safety)
Independent, proactive, and hands-on working style
Strong communication skills (English required, Greek is a plus)
Nice to have: SafetyPass certification (ELINYAE)
