Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Quarterly Commission

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and developing new partnership opportunities while nurturing existing relationships to generate long-term commercial growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new strategic partnerships and referral relationships
  • Identifying, engaging and winning new business opportunities through networking, LinkedIn, email, telephone and face-to-face meetings
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Managing marketing-generated enquiries and converting them into qualified sales opportunities
  • Booking and qualifying discovery meetings for the wider commercial team
  • Working closely with Marketing to improve campaigns, messaging and lead generation activity
  • Maintaining an accurate CRM pipeline and effectively managing opportunities
  • Providing market insight and customer feedback to help shape future commercial strategy

About You

You'll be an experienced Business Development, Partnerships or Sales Development professional who enjoys building relationships and creating commercial opportunities.

You'll bring:

  • Proven B2B business development or partnership development experience
  • A track record of generating new business and building long-term client relationships
  • A consultative, relationship-led approach to sales
  • Confidence using phone, email, LinkedIn and networking to develop new opportunities
  • Experience managing and converting marketing-generated leads
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and opportunities
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
