Your role

Join OneDigital, the team driving Symrise’s digital transformation with the ambition to become the most digitally empowered company on the planet. Within our Data, Analytics & AI organization, we transform data into decisions and ideas into impact—creating scalable platforms, trusted insights, and AI-driven solutions that enable innovation and measurable business value across the enterprise.

As Head of Data & AI Platform, you will own and shape Symrise’s enterprise-wide Data & AI platform ecosystem—the foundation powering reporting, operational decision-making, AI-driven automation, and future innovation at scale. This role goes far beyond technology operations; it is a strategic leadership position responsible for industrializing data and AI as a core enterprise capability that influences how Symrise operates, innovates, and creates competitive advantage.

You will lead the evolution of a modern platform-as-a-product model, enabling reusable, scalable, and business-owned data and AI products. As Symrise expands its use of GenAI and emerging agentic AI capabilities, you will ensure the platform ecosystem provides the scalability, governance, security, and trust required for enterprise-wide adoption and impact. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will help shape the future of AI-driven transformation across the organization.

About you

• Proven leadership experience in enterprise data platforms, AI platforms, or large-scale technology ecosystems.
• Strong background in modern cloud-based data architectures, platform engineering, and AI-enabled environments.
• Experience designing and scaling enterprise platforms with a platform-as-a-product mindset.
• Deep understanding of data, analytics, AI/ML, and emerging technologies such as Generative AI and agentic AI.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align technology capabilities with business priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Experience balancing innovation with enterprise requirements including governance, security, compliance, and scalability.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders and executive leadership across global organizations.
• Proven people leadership skills with experience building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
• Passion for digital transformation and leveraging data and AI to create long-term business impact.
