Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust test automation frameworks supporting multiple applications, environments, and platforms.
  • Contribute to the implementation of test automation strategies, standards, and best practices to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency.
  • Review business and technical requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive and effective test coverage across the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, API testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform end-to-end testing activities including functional, integration, regression, performance, and system testing.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Architects, and DevOps teams to ensure testability and early defect detection.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis to improve overall product quality.
  • Continuously improve test processes, frameworks, and automation coverage to increase efficiency and reduce execution time.
  • Support and mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and testing best practices.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on testing progress, risks, and quality status to the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to design and architectural discussions with a focus on maintainability, scalability, and testability.
  • Promote a quality-focused mindset and support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Here's what you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, including hands-on experience with Java-based applications.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of test design techniques, test strategies, and quality assurance practices.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment processes.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently on complex testing tasks and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
