Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Spend and contract data foundation
- Consolidate data from finance, procurement, and contract management systems into reliable, structured datasets so they can be used for analysis
- Build and maintain baselines: including reference prices, rates, and volumes that savings and performance are measured against
- Define and maintain data standards, spend taxonomy, and quality controls to ensure consistent and trusted reporting
Spend visibility and analytics
- Develop end-to-end spend and cost visibility across categories, suppliers, and regions and entities
- Deliver dashboards, drill-down reporting, and targeted analyses
- Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
Performance tracking
- Deliver supplier and contract performance reporting, including KPIs, SLAs, and QBR materials
- Track source to pay performance metrics including savings versus baseline, spend under management, compliance, and cycle times
- Track finance operations performance, including process quality, timeliness, and efficiency KPIs across accounting and source-to-pay teams
Value creation support
- Partner with category managers and finance process owners to identify and quantify savings opportunities and spend leakage
- Validate savings methodologies and ensure alignment with finance and business reporting
- Provide fact-based analysis to support negotiations and business cases
Forward-looking insight
- Develop scenario analyses covering demand, price changes, risk exposure to inform category planning
- Highlight risks and optimization opportunities across suppliers and contracts
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Strong analytical background is essential, with hands-on experience structuring and modeling large, imperfect datasets
- 3+ years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or finance operations, combined with strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and Power BI; SQL or comparable data-handling skills an advantage
- Working knowledge of procurement and purchase-to-pay processes; experience with Basware, Unit4 Financials, and procurement or contract systems an advantage
- Understanding of spend taxonomy, baselining, and savings methodologies
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, decision-ready insight for non-analysts
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal
EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE
- Analytical rigor: turning messy, multi-source data into reliable, decision-ready insight
- Commercial acumen: understanding what drives value in procurement and finance, not only reporting the numbers
- Communication and influence: making analysis land with the category managers and stakeholders who act on it
