We are seeking a JavaScript Developer to become part of our team.

Responsibilities

  • Create Web Components with Polymer2, Lit Element, or a modern framework such as ReactJS, VueJS, or Angular
  • Construct sophisticated components that deliver rich functionality and enable reusability across various applications
  • Adhere to established best practices and coding conventions to produce high-quality, maintainable source code
  • Apply advanced automated testing techniques, including the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach
  • Oversee continuous integration and deployment activities to enable seamless and dependable releases
  • Examine and approve Pull Requests, safeguarding code quality and encouraging knowledge exchange within the team
  • Detect opportunities to enhance performance and strengthen security throughout the codebase
  • Guide junior and standard developers, contributing to their technical development and career growth
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional commercial experience in software engineering
  • Advanced command of JavaScript for creating modern, dynamic web applications
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3 or Sass for structuring and styling user interfaces
  • Practical background in framework development with ReactJS, VueJS, Polymer, Lit Element, or Angular
  • Skilled use of Git and Gitflow, including tracking and reviewing Pull Requests
  • Familiarity with W508 accessibility standards for developing inclusive web experiences
  • Solid background in writing unit tests to validate code accuracy and dependability
  • Grasp of continuous integration principles, with hands-on experience using Jenkins
  • Applied experience with automated testing and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
  • Working understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (B1+ level or higher)

Nice to have

  • Practical experience using Artifactory for handling binary artifacts and dependency management
  • Applied background in Bitbucket for version control and collaborative code administration
