In the role of Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Angular & Microfrontends) within our Software Solutions Engineering team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will be responsible for the client-facing side of our platform, helping modernize our Angular architecture and create secure, intuitive, and engaging experiences for millions of users.

You will join a collaborative team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers building the next generation of GN's cloud-based software platforms. Together, we develop scalable solutions that power connected devices and digital services used globally.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Shape and evolve our Angular microfrontend architecture, ensuring multiple independently deployable applications deliver a seamless user experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain shared UI component libraries, frontend tooling, and documentation that improve developer productivity and consistency across teams.
• Shape frontend architecture decisions, applying modern state management patterns, robust error handling, and scalable application design.
• Improve frontend performance, accessibility, internationalization, and the overall user experience by applying modern Angular best practices.
• Own the client-side real-time communication layer using SignalR and RxJS, working closely with backend engineers to deliver responsive, connected experiences.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID, MSAL, and single sign-on solutions.
• Plan and coordinate Angular framework upgrades, technology migrations, and continuous platform modernization initiatives.
• Advance frontend quality by using automated testing, observability, monitoring, and production diagnostics.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX designers, architects, and backend teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to technical discussions, architecture proposals, and engineering standards that support long-term platform evolution.

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or have equivalent practical experience.
• Have extensive experience developing modern Angular applications and browser-based user interfaces.
• Understand frontend architecture, component-based design, state management, and scalable application development.
• Have experience working with microfrontend architectures, shared UI platforms, and modern frontend tooling.
• Are comfortable collaborating with backend engineers on API design, authentication, and real-time communication.
• Have experience with authentication technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, OpenID Connect, or similar identity platforms.
• Value software quality and have experience with automated testing, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enjoy mentoring others, sharing knowledge, and continuously improving engineering practices.
• Are fluent in spoken and written English.
