Mechanical Assembler

1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available | Monday–Friday | Overtime Available

Are you mechanically inclined and enjoy working with your hands? We're hiring Mechanical Assemblers to build and assemble large-scale products in a manufacturing environment. If you have experience using hand and power tools, can read a tape measure, and enjoy hands-on work, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble mechanical products and sub-assemblies
  • Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools
  • Read blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics
  • Measure, cut, drill, rivet, bolt, and fit components
  • Perform quality checks using measuring tools
  • Work on large assemblies and shelter structures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow safety and manufacturing procedures

  • Drills
  • Rivet guns
  • Sanders and grinders
  • Wrenches and screwdrivers
  • Pneumatic tools
  • Tape measures
  • Calipers and micrometers
  • Gauges and laser leveling tools

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable reading blueprints (training available)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Experience

  • 2–5 years of large-scale mechanical assembly experience
  • Metal manufacturing experience
  • Experience working with large assemblies or structures
  • Crane or forklift experience
  • Gauge calibration experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallastown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50/hr.
