JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer

LOCATION: Orlando, FL

PAY RATE: $102.88/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary:

• Develops real-time embedded software for missile and fire control systems.
• Performs software development across all phases from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.
• Uses Ada programming language for embedded software development.
• Performs integration and test activities involving software and hardware.
• Works with multi-disciplined teams on software engineering projects.
• Applies experience with Linux or VxWorks operating systems for embedded development.
• Uses GitLab CI and CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Supports software qualification testing for system validation.
• Works on real-time embedded systems with hardware integration.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams for software delivery.

Requirements:

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of real-time embedded software development experience using Ada programming language.
• 3+ years of integration and test experience involving software and hardware.
• Preferred: Experience with Linux or VxWorks operating systems.
• Preferred: Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.
• Preferred: Experience with GitLab CI and CD pipelines.
• Ability to work Monday through Thursday 4/10 schedule on 1st shift.
• Experience with embedded software development life cycle from requirements through qualification testing.
