The Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) seeks a dynamic, organized, and student-centered Associate Program Manager & Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative oversight and programmatic support for a federally funded, NIH T32-supported dual-degree training program. The MSTP prepares the next generation of clinician-scientist leaders (individuals earning both a clinical degree (MD, DO, DDS, PharmD, etc.) and a research doctorate (PhD)) who will accelerate the translation of biomedical discoveries into improved human health.
Reporting to the Program Directors, this full-time position serves as the operational backbone of the program. The Program Manager ensures regulatory compliance with NIH/NRSA requirements, manages all aspects of grant administration and reporting, coordinates trainee recruitment and appointments, supports mentorship and career development programming, works closely with program leadership, faculty, and program evaluator, and fosters a welcoming, supportive community for trainees across the full arc of their dual-degree careers. The ideal candidate brings prior federal grants management experience and a genuine enthusiasm for working with graduate trainees in an academic biomedical research environment.
