Job Type: Full Time Evaluation Hire

Schedule: Monday-Thursday – 6:55 am-4:25 pm & Friday 6:55 am- 3:25 pm

About the Role:

Express Employment is currently recruiting for a Plasma Machine Operator to join a local manufacturer and automated fabrication

facility in Guelph.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor robotic and CNC machinery to process structural steel
• components accurately
• Read shop fabrication drawings to ensure correct parts are produced from specified material blanks
• Load and unload material using manual handling and overhead crane operation
• Mark and verify processed material against shop drawings before release
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience operating a CNC plasma machine (preferred)
• 3+ years of machine operation and setup (required)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards
• Attention to detail and willingness to contribute to process improvements
