What You’ll Do

TTEC is hiring a Data Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the data pipelines and infrastructure that power analytics and decision-making across the company.

You'll work hands-on with our cloud-based data stack, own pipelines end-to-end with some guidance, and collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to deliver reliable, well-structured data. This role suits someone with a couple of years of data engineering experience who is ready to take on more ownership and grow into a mid/senior role.

You'll report to Manager, Data Engineering.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Write efficient, production-grade SQL for data transformation, modeling, and analysis
• Develop and maintain Python-based data processing scripts and automation
• Build and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow (e.g. Cloud Composer)
• Work with Datastream and other GCP services to ingest and replicate data from source systems
• Support and maintain data models and dashboards in Looker
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting for pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline and data issues
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs
• Document pipelines, data flows, and processes

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, or a similar data-focused role
• Strong SQL skills — able to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets
• Strong Python skills — able to build data pipelines, automation, and scripts independently
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, etc.)
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools, ideally Apache Airflow
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Must be able to work US shift.
