Software .Net Cloud Developer (12 months Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a skilled .NET Cloud Developer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and hands-on experience building scalable, secure solutions on cloud platforms. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, cloud-native software that meets business and technical requirements.

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-based applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs)
  • Develop and maintain services for cloud environments. Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability in the cloud
  • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements
  • Apply best practices for cloud security, monitoring, logging, and cost optimization
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience in C# and .NET / .NET Core along with ASP.NET Core and Web API development, or willingness to learn these technologies
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms. Good understanding of cloud-native architectures, including: Microservices, Containers, Serverless computing. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent English proficiency required for professional communication, technical discussions, and documentation

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization standards, such as: OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT.
  • Experience with additional programming languages, such as Java or C++
