Maintenance/HVAC-Boiler Technician

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $30-$25/hour

Hours: 12-hr rotating shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance/HVAC-Boiler Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers. This role requires responding to work orders for heating, cooling, and steam system issues. You will conduct routine inspections, testing, and calibration of HVAC and boiler controls, handle emergency repairs to minimize downtime during production, and manage spare parts and tools inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial HVAC systems, boilers, and chillers.
  • Respond to work orders and calls for heating, cooling, and steam system issues.
  • Conduct routine inspections, testing, and calibration of HVAC and boiler controls.
  • Handle emergency repairs quickly to minimize downtime during production.
  • Manage spare parts and tools inventory efficiently.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems.
  • Proficiency as a maintenance technician and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; two-year degree in a specialized maintenance trade preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Work in a facility with approximately 400 people across all shifts. The hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for day shifts and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for night shifts, with a $2 shift differential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.50/hr.
