  • Remain at the assigned machine or station while wearing appropriate hearing protection as needed.
  • Cross-train in other departments and support additional tasks as needed in a small-team environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of machine operator experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Experience using hand tools to assist with machine set ups and perform changeovers.

Why Work Here?

You join a stable, family-oriented organization with a long history and a small, close-knit team where average tenure is 10–12 years. The company emphasizes a strong sense of belonging through regular celebrations such as cookouts, pizza days, and birthday recognition. You receive 11 paid holidays and two weeks of vacation, paid on your anniversary date. Health insurance is highly competitive and intentionally kept affordable, with leadership personally investing to reduce employee costs. The company offers gas gift cards, holiday bonuses, and additional bonuses twice a year once you are hired on permanently. You benefit from cross-training opportunities and the chance to broaden your skills, while enjoying a supportive environment where leadership actively shows appreciation and values employees’ contributions.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a small manufacturing facility with approximately 15 employees, where you will operate production equipment similar to industrial patch or coating machines used in fastener processing. The environment is very loud when all machines are running, and the smell of adhesives and epoxy can be strong, so hearing protection and other appropriate PPE are important. You are expected to remain at your station and with your machine, though you may wear headphones as allowed by site policy. The facility is not temperature controlled, so conditions can become warm, especially in the summer; cold drinks such as water and sports beverages are provided during hot weather. The role is primarily 1st shift, generally 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with potential 5:00 a.m. starts based on production needs and occasional Saturday work from 6:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. You will stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and handle small parts, sometimes seated at an industrial patch machine. Dress typically includes appropriate work attire and required steel toe boots for safety on the production floor. As part of a small team, you will wear many hats, assist wherever needed, and work closely with colleagues in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
