Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The role involves working across both frontend and backend layers, contributing to the development of scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of API development, frontend frameworks, and cloud-native concepts.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build and enhance backend services using Node.js
• Design, implement, and consume GraphQL APIs, including working with schema definitions, queries, and mutations
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UX, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality software
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and documentation

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• Hands-on experience to:
  • React.js and Next.js
  • Node.js for backend service development
  • GraphQL (API design/consumption, schema understanding, query & mutation usage)
  • REST API development and integration
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to Kafka or event-driven/messaging systems
• Basic knowledge of databases:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • DynamoDB

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• Understanding of AWS fundamentals:
  • IAM
  • CloudWatch
  • Basic networking concepts
• Exposure to AWS Lambda or serverless architecture
• Basic understanding of microservices and cloud-native architecture

Experience & Qualifications

• 3 + years of experience (including internships or academic projects)
• Strong problem-solving and learning mindset

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in an agile development environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice to Highlight in Profiles

• Personal or academic projects demonstrating full-stack capabilities
