Application Engineer – Motor/Electronics

Description

• To understand Inteva motor portfolio in order to support/work as application engineer for NA customers.
• Analyze and understand customer technical requirements and develop conformity matrix to be able to propose product for RFQ.
• Develop Inteva DVPR ensuring alignment with customer specifications
• Support business pursuit activities, analyze RFQ packages. Develop eBOMs.
• Create DFMEA's.
• Follow test and validations thru DV, PV phase, analyze results, Develop solutions to any validation challenges.
• Engage in regular communication with NA customers, US based applications team for Motors/Electronics and Window Regulators and Inteva motors and electronics core engineers in India and France.
• Follow Inteva PDP (Product development process) and meet all gate review requirements.

Position Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of engineering design of motors and electronics. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of design of molded parts.
• Advanced English.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally to support the business, although this is an estimation and may increase or decrease depending on the needs of the business.
