JOB TITLE: Machine Operator (C05XN5)

LOCATION: Kinston, NC

PAY RATE: $28/hr

Summary:

  • Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to manufacture aerospace parts and assemblies.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
  • Perform machining tasks such as milling, drilling, boring, grinding, honing, and deburring.
  • Use precision measuring tools to inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor product quality and follow safety, OSHA, and FOD requirements.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance including coolant, lubrication, and filter checks.
  • Move materials/products within the work area and support production flow.
  • Assist with training team members and support continuous manufacturing operations.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under ITAR regulations).
  • High School Diploma/GED or WorkKeys Assessment completion.
  • Minimum 3 years of machine operator experience.
  • Basic machine operation and blueprint-reading skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety, and quality standards.
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform basic shop math.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
